It has been estimated that nearly half of all Americans today can trace their family history to at least one person who passed through the Port of New York at Ellis Island. Also my wife's grandparents went to America through Ellis Island. Now, nearly a century since the peak years of immigration, Ellis Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the National Park Service. The pictures in my Ellis Island gallery had been taken during the trip to New York in 2007.

Today I submitted several quite good pictures taken during a single spring day of 2006. I hope it is not too much for you. 6 of them shows a flood near Vistula river where I travel quite frequently. I did some experiments with filtering and that's why the colors are different. I very, very seldom manipulate with the colors in a photo software. I try to catch what I need where I am. Enjoy. My visit in Croatia in 2006 was one of the most fruitful in terms of pictures taken. This country is so beautiful that almost each and every picture I took had its own mood and is worth of being submitted. Today I added few more to my Croatian gallery and I will add more in upcoming days. I am sure I will go to visit Croatia again

Moja wycieczka do Chorwacji w 2006 roku była jedną z bardziej owocnych pod względem zrobionych zdjęć. Ten kraj jest tak piękny, że właściwie każde zdjęcie miało swój nastrój i jest warte opublikowania. Dzisiaj dodałem kilka kolejnych do chorwackiej galerii i dodam jeszcze więcej w nastęnych dniach. Jestem pewien, ze jeszcze raz pojadę do Chorwacji

This morning I found that in my Greek Gallery there is just a single picture. Nice, but lonely. I decided to add several more pictures taken during trip to Chalkidiki in 2007.
